In May 2023 they appeared in their very own variety program, “ChoCo in Hollywood.” The series was released through Mnet’s M2 YouTube channel, and the two went under the stage names, Jake (Yeom YeChan) and TJ (Kim TaeJo). As the name suggests, the two went off to Hollywood to further hone their skills, meeting with top producers, dancers, and even world-renowned Jamie Foxx. They even had the opportunity to film a music video for their song, ’85 IN’.

It doesn’t stop there, as they appeared on “M! Countdown” as ChoCo1&2, alongside fellow label trainee Anpan. Despite being young in age and experience, they oozed with charisma and showed they could be future leaders of the K-Pop scene. From fresh rap skills, stable vocals, and steady dance moves, even early on the potential was there for Yeom YeChan and Kim TaeJo.

Then there’s YeChan’s participation in JTBC’s survival program “PROJECT 7,” earning him more recognition and support from viewers worldwide. With such solid foundations, all they needed was a little more time to level up and become the incredible performers we see today.
