1VERSE Makes Historic K-Pop Debut With Bold Single Album “The 1st Verse”

Music label Singing Beetle has officially unveiled 1VERSE, a groundbreaking new K-Pop boy group whose debut marks a historic first in the industry. Their debut single album, “The 1st Verse“, is now available worldwide across major streaming platforms and global retailers — a powerful launch that blends dynamic sound, personal storytelling, and a bold new identity for K-Pop.

Composed of members, Hyuk, Seok, Nathan, Kenny, and Aito, 1VERSE is a multinational group that includes artists from Korea, the United States, and Japan. Notably, Hyuk and Seok are the first North Korean defector idols to debut in a K-Pop group, adding deeper significance to the group’s narrative and the message of unity through music.

This album features three genre-spanning tracks, beginning with ‘Multiverse‘ — a heartfelt pre-debut single created by Hyuk and choreographed by Aito. First performed live at a showcase at Ilchi Art Hall in Seoul, ‘Multiverse’ is a tribute to the group’s fanbase 5TARZ, and represents the members’ gratitude and ambition ahead of their official launch.

In contrast, the title track ‘Shattered‘ delivers a ritty, high-impact sound that showcases the group’s emotional range and edge. Written in part by Hyuk and Kenny, and produced by a hitmaking team whose credits include BTS, SEVENTEEN, TWICE, and NCT, ‘Shattered’ is available in both Korean and English versions. The bold choreography — co-created by Aito and choreographer Michael Le (known for work with Jason Derulo and ENHYPEN) — adds intensity to the group’s visual and performance identity.
