Two K-Pop Idols With The Same Name Get Confused At “2025 ISAC”

It’s that time of year again! The Idol Star Athletics Championships (ISAC) are back with more sports, friendly competition, and memorable behind-the-scenes moments.

This year’s event, which won’t officially air until October, will feature a grand total of 373 idols and 61 teams. They will compete in five events: Korean wrestling (ssireum), track and field, penalty shootouts, dance sports, and a brand new event–pistol shooting.

Although ISAC won’t air until the Chuseok holidays, fans who attended the filming are offering a sneak peek with fan-taken videos. One of these videos, which has racked up over 150,000 views in less than 24 hours on X (formerly Twitter), features two idols with the same name: EVNNE‘s Park Hanbin…

…and ZEROBASEONE‘s Sung Hanbin.

At one point during the competition, the Hanbins happened to be standing side by side while fans shouted their name. That led to this funny moment, where they tried to figure out who the fans were really cheering for.

What if they were actually screaming for TEMPEST‘s Hanbin? At ISAC, there are plenty of Hanbins to choose from — and they’re all worth screaming for.
