Shortly after the photos were posted, some netizens criticized the decision due to the belief that the idea was created by BTS‘s RM, pointing to a past video where the idol expressed the desire to put writing on the HYBE building for Festa.

Fans quickly defended SEVENTEEN and the decision, not only explaining that wrapping buildings for major events was something the group has done for years, even when they were based at the Pledis building, but that it shouldn’t be surprising that a HYBE group is being celebrated at HYBE.

That fandom is so irritating, pledis has been displaying svt related visuals on their building since 2018 this isn’t some groundbreaking concept with it being SEVENTEEN’s 10th year, of course they’re continuing the tradition now under HYBE.
