On June 7, 2025, a viral forum post containing a message from former BigHit Communications Director Elly Chae Eun became a topic of discussion. In the post made on her Threads account, the former director claimed that she was forced out of her position, and hinted at the “greed” of HYBE.

In an additional post, it was revealed that she had privately met up with Bang Si Hyuk during a weekend of overtime work in 2017. She had been working the weekend before presidential elections and ended up having a meal with Bang Si Hyuk then. She revealed that he made her uncomfortable by trying to influence her vote.
