Former i-dle (previously known as (G)I-DLE) member member Soojin has pulled the plug on her highly anticipated world tour, leaving fans stunned.
The announcement, made earlier this week by the organizer Abridge, has fueled disappointment and frustration across social media.

The Re:Summer Daze US tour was expected to mark Soojin’s biggest international showcase yet. However, organizers revealed that the entire tour was scrapped due to “unforeseen circumstances,” clarifying that the decision was not related to the singer’s health or ongoing activities. While they promised future updates, the abrupt cancellation has already left fans questioning how the situation was handled.

Fans have pointed to several reasons they believe the tour failed to materialize. Many highlighted concerns over poor planning, from booking venues considered too large to raising ticket prices without adequate promotion. Others criticized the lack of new music leading up to the shows, saying it made it harder to sustain momentum and demand.

This isn’t the first time Soojin’s touring plans have faced setbacks. Fans recalled that an earlier attempt was also called off, only for the same shows to be rebooked at bigger venues. To see the cycle repeat again has left many feeling that mismanagement is to blame.
Amid the backlash, frustration has grown over how the singer’s career is being handled overall. Despite proving herself as one of the top-selling soloists in recent years, fans feel she has been sidelined with minimal promotional opportunities.
they cancelled her ENTIRE tour AGAIN… poor timing, too many dates, venues too big, shit marketing, I mean soojins own fans were making and displaying posters to promote this tour. BRD ent. is entirely incompetent I can't imagine how soojin feels. this isn't her fault :( pic.twitter.com/kaR5gVpBYU

sending soojin to the dungeon for a year and cancelling multiple tours as if she was flopping but she was in the top 10 best selling soloists two years a row. like they’re just not doing their jobs at all pic.twitter.com/qXqB3nBDzT

Some are now demanding that her agency compensate by investing more in her comeback, including proper music show appearances, collaborations, and stronger promotions.
If Soojin is cancelling her whole tour, she better have a proper promotion for this comeback. I need to see her on music shows I need to see her collaborating with artists. I need to see her having two music videos. this better be the pre release single for Nov full come back pic.twitter.com/tEWIa69AS3

@BRD_entofficial BRD cancelled SOOJIN's entire tour. This happens when you can't promote your artist or do even the bare minimum.
No promotions in South korea No promotions in LATAM No promotions in U.S…. what the fuck are you even doing pic.twitter.com/lSkPvyqqO7

For now, fans are left with both disappointment and worry, hoping that Soojin’s next steps will be better supported and that the cancellations don’t overshadow her continued success as a solo artist.
