KATSEYE have directly addressed a recent wave of dating rumors.

The members have been embroiled in a series of dating rumors, most of which the group has cleared up on social media, but it is definitely unique.

During a recent interview, KATSEYE was asked about dating as the host explained, “I feel like you’re one of the first groups, at least in the K-Pop world that is really open about what you’ve got going on in your personal lives. Like partners on the internet…”

Daniela acknowledged that people are curious, but when asked about the people around them, Megan explained that they have to warn people about what could happen if they get photographed together.

I feel like anyone we hang out with, whether they’re friends or whatever, it’s like we always have to warn them that, ‘Hey this is a big part of our lives.’ We have to warn them that the internet and like the whole buzz is a big part of our lives. If it does end up happening and you get clipped, it’s inevitable.

Manon and Lara both seemed to speak from experience as they indirectly addressed rumors that they have received. Manon explained, “People will make assumptions, like not everyone we’re standing next to is our boyfriend or girlfriend,” seemingly referring to the recent The Kid LAROI rumors from the VMAs after-party.
