Overheard BLACKPINK Soundcheck Ahead Of “DEADLINE” Tour Lowers Expectations Further

After several months of waiting, BLACKPINK‘s group activities are finally set to begin again.

Over the last year, the members of BLACKPINK have focused on their solo activities, with YG Entertainment confirming they would release new music this year. However, the rollout has sparked criticism as fans share their frustrations with the group.

Most recently, fans complained over the announcement of a new lightstick.

Complaints over the announced DEADLINE tour have also been aplenty, as fans worried over the group’s readiness. The tour is set to begin with two nights of shows at Goyang Stadium on June 5 and 6.

Recently, however, fans were left disappointed by a preview of the show’s setlist.

Ahead of the concerts, netizens have shared clips alleged to show BLACKPINK sound-checking different tracks. In the clips, the group appear to be rehearsing “As If It’s Your Last” and “Forever Young.”

While these two tracks are definitely some of the group’s most popular, some fans expressed frustration with the tour preview. As the two tracks were performed on BLACKPINK’s last tour, many fans are upset, anticipating that new songs, specifically different b-sides.
