As K-pop has expanded in popularity, the ways fans can meet their favorite idol have also grown. From in-person concerts to video call fan signings, idols have never been more accessible to a larger population of fans.

Unfortuntely, some take advantage of this, including a recent incident involving a fourth generation idol.
In 2022, Brand New Music debuted a boy group called YOUNITE. Currently an eight-membered group, YOUNITE were one of the competing groups on Road to Kingdom : Ace of Ace.

Earlier this year, it was announced that the group would embark on a Brazilian tour, performing nine dates in the country.
According to fans, on August 17, when the group were in Sao Paulo, member Eunho suffered sexual harassment from a fan. In a video that has since gone viral, a woman can be seen grabbing Eunho and attempting to kiss him, though it isn’t clear if she was successful or not.

This incident has been covered not only in Korea, but has sparked international outrage online from netizens.

Hopefully, the invasive fan will face consequences for their actions.
