A K-Pop store is going mega-viral for their no-nonsense approach to handling NCT albums after former member Taeil was sentenced to prison for aggravated quasi-rape.

The store in question, Netherlands-based Hey!Hallyu, was flooded with praise after an employee shared a photo of the shop’s NCT album shelf on X. On the shelf, a sign reads, “Got Taeil? Let us know and we’ll fix it.”

Eagle-eyed fans also spotted that Taeil’s face had been covered with a sticker on one of the visible albums.

The post quickly gained traction, racking up over 100,000 likes from fans. It has now been more than one year since SM Entertainment announced that Taeil had been removed from NCT for then-unspecified sex-crimes, with fans at the time going as far as burning the former idol’s merchandise.

While some argued the store’s policy was the bare minimum, others were pleased to see K-Pop businesses prioritizing values over potential profits. Dozens more fans went on to share similar signs and approaches at their own local K-Pop stores, many of which are allowing customers to open their NCT 127 albums in front of staff and reselect a new photocard if they receive Taeil.

With Taeil appealing his sentence last month, which already failed to meet the seven-year sentence initially requested by prosecutors, fans’ anger and condemnation remains strong — and some fellow idols appear to feel the same. Earlier this month, a popular fourth-gen idol also went viral after skipping Taeil’s part while listening to an NCT song.
