Recently, EVAN appeared in a TikTok with fellow HYBE idol ILLIT‘s Iroha as they danced to the group’s new collaboration song “ICONIC BY MISTAKE,” which was released with KATSEYE and LE SSERAFIM/

When the video was posted, it sparked a lot of hate from netizens, which gained a lot of attention. In the comments, some hit back at EVAN’s talent, saying he wasn’t dancing it properly, and even claiming they had to be forced to watch him to see Iroha dancing.
