On 27 June 2026, South Korean rock band FTISLAND brought their 2026 FTISLAND LIVE '0 — XIX — III FaTe' tour to Singapore, delivering an electrifying set at Arena @ EXPO.

Performing to a sea of enthusiastic Primadonnas (the band's official fandom name), the trio captivated the crowd with a well-balanced setlist, blending beloved classics, newer releases, and even some of their Japanese tracks.

Nearly two decades into their career, the veteran trio consisting of Lee Honggi, Lee Jaejin, and Choi Minhwan still remains one of K-POP's strongest rock bands, delivering powerful vocals and undeniable stage presence.

The night started unconventionally with a mysterious hooded figure (later revealed to be member Lee Honggi) walking through the audience, building anticipation from the get-go. "Satisfaction", "Hourglass", and "Sage" soon followed, as the band reunited with Singaporean Primadonnas after over a two-year wait. Explaining the thought put behind the tarot card concept of FaTe, Honggi mentioned how the cards represented different messages they wanted to convey through this concert.

Beyond the carefully curated setlist of performances, the night was also filled with playful banter and heartfelt interactions. The audience's familiarity with the Korean language allowed conversations to flow naturally, reflecting the strong connection and comfort built between FTISLAND and their fans. Fans held up star-shaped lights throughout the show, creating a sea of glowing stars, adding to the warm atmosphere. Honggi even shared that he could feel the warmth and energy from the audience that night, playfully requesting that the aircon to be turned up all the way in the venue. It was evident and refreshing to see the fans fully enjoying themselves, singing along whenever they could and enthusiastically headbanging along to the band's powerful performances.

To slow things down, the band brought out chairs for a more intimate and cozy segment. They shared that they had specially rearranged some of their older tracks for fans who were experiencing their concert for the first time. Songs such as "Love Love Love," "Thunder," "Cloud," and "Rising Star" were featured, offering a fresh take on the beloved classics.

To create memorable interactions with the audience, Honggi frequently moved around the audience seats and playfully invited some fans to join him as he ran through the crowd. When two fans accidentally fell during the excitement, he immediately checked on them to make sure they were alright, and even offered each of them a banana as a sweet and thoughtful gesture.

The night soon drew to a close, but not forgetting the heartfelt banner surprise from fans which read "We met as if we were fated, and it's Fate that we'll be together till the end", followed by a celebration with champagne and cake to commemorate FTISLAND's 19th anniversary. Honggi shared that the direction behind the concert was to embrace both their new and older songs as part of one complete journey, emphasizing that "they are all our songs." They hoped to create an unforgettable experience for fans, while also giving those who may not be as familiar with their Japanese tracks an opportunity to discover and appreciate another side of FTISLAND's music. He also added that he has been exploring more English songs recently, showing the band's continued growth.

Some closing words from the members of the band:

Jaejin: "It's been a while since we've been back, and we saw how you all were singing along so well. So I was actually really shocked. Even during the past two and a half years, we could not visit you. It seems like you were diligently listening to us and cheering us on, so it made me happy. With all the good energy that I received today, not only to the end of Fate (tour), but since next year is also our 20th anniversary, please look forward to us because we will create much cooler songs and performances for you in the future."

Minhwan: "It's the same for me as well. Today I had so much fun and was so happy, and I hope we can see each other in the near future. Till then, each year after the other, we will continue to be the amazing band FTISLAND. Thank you!"

Honggi: "For us too, for the 20th anniversary that is approaching us, we are really looking forward to it and have so many plans in our heads at the moment on how to do it. Even though we are worried if we can pull it off, we are looking to create a 20th anniversary album and concert. It seems like for the 20th anniversary concert, we might just be doing it in Korea, exactly a year later in June. We will likely hold it only in Korea. If you are available, please do stop by to have fun with us."

Beyond the music, it was a celebration of cherished memories, unwavering support, and the lasting connection between them and Primadonnas. With their 20th anniversary on the horizon, FTISLAND continues to show their burning passion for music and performing for their fans, leaving us eagerly anticipating the next chapter of their enduring legacy.
