BTS’s Jin Mentions His Current Dynamic With Jungkook, Leaving Fans Heartbroken

A clip of BTS member Jin talking about his dynamic with Jungkook is going viral on X (former Twitter), inviting heated reactions from fans.

Jin recently made a charismatic return to tvN‘s Handsome Guys, appearing as a guest in the latest episode, which aired on May 15, KST. He was joined by the regular cast members Cha Tae Hyun, Kim Dong Hyun, Lee Yi Kyung, Shin Seung Ho, and Oh Sang Wook. The BTS member joined them on a culinary recommendation journey around Seoul’s Hannam-dong.

Jin, who appeared on the very first episode of this show, has a longstanding relationship with the cast members. Their friendship was reflected in their laid-back and fun interactions throughout the latest episode, to the point where Lee Ki Young remarked that it seemed like he had always been a part of the team. Jin reciprocated the sentiment, saying that looking at the Handsome Guys team felt like he was looking at his own team.

Jin was then asked to suggest other BTS members that he thought would best suit the show’s vibe. He first recommended Jungkook, adding that he was a big foodie. He then mentioned V as well, remarking that he had a laid-back personality and could take jokes very well.

Oh Sang Wook, who is a 96-liner, asked Jin about V and Jungkook’s age. After realizing Jungkook was a year younger, he joked that Jungkook could appear on the show as his junior. Kim Dong Hyun then teased Oh, asking if he would be okay after making such a remark, leaving him bewildered.

Jin responded to Oh, saying that even he didn’t dare to talk down to Jungkook because of the “scary” fans.

While Jin seemed to be half joking, ARMYs were left heartbroken at the possibility of Jin changing up his chaotic dynamic with Jungkook because of fans’ reactions.

However, some feel that Jin’s words have been misinterpreted and that in the clip, he was actually trying to protect Jungkook and warning Oh Sang Wook about treating him carelessly.
