BTS member Jin recently shared his honest opinion of acting alongside Shin Se Kyung in a music video for his latest song.

On May 17, KST, Jin appeared as a guest on Red Velvet member Wendy‘s radio show, Young Street. The BTS member shared some behind-the-scenes stories from his music video shoot with the actress.

When asked to self-evaluate his acting performance in the video, Jin humbly responded, “I’d give my acting 1.2 out of 10.” He explained that since it was his first time acting with someone other than a BTS member, he was unsure of how his performance came out on screen. “I didn’t know what to do on set or how to do it. So, I felt both sorry and grateful to Shin Se Kyung.”
However, Jin added that after watching the final result, he was relieved.
Wendy, on the other hand, had a completely different evaluation of Jin’s performance. “I thought it was really great when I saw it. I’d give it a 10 out of 10,” she quipped.
Jin also spoke about the challenges he faced while filming his music video. He recalled that in a particular scene, he was supposed to yell, but he couldn’t execute it well. “I noticed Shin Se Kyung was mouthing the words without making any sound, so I followed her lead. She guided me well,” he explained.

The idol also talked about the fight scene in the music video, explaining that he had to work extra hard to make it look realistic. However, his dissatisfaction remained. “Since I’m not an actor, there were things I wanted to express, but they just wouldn’t come out naturally.”

Though Jin might be too humble to praise his own performance, fans were left captivated by it. Meanwhile, the music video of Jin’s new song, “Don’t Say You Love Me,” was released on May 16, KST. You can check it out right here:
