Yoo Jae Suk Revealed To Have Paid For A Female Idol’s Vocal Lessons

On June 13, 2025 (KST), in an episode of SBS PowerFM’s “Cultwo Show” radio program, LOVELYZ member Lee Mijoo shared a surprising story about her Hangout With Yoo co-star and beloved comedian Yoo Jae Suk.

Appearing alongside Lee Mijoo as a special DJ to host the “Line Singing Season 2” segment was vocal trainer Noh Young Joo. The trainer said she has been giving lessons to not only K-Pop idols but also actors like Gong Myung and Wi Ha Joon, too.

These days, many actors sing at fan meetings, so vocal training helps. I’d say Wi Ha Joon’s singing is almost at a professional level.

Lee Mijoo then revealed that she also got lessons from Noh Young Joo in the past. When Cultwo‘s Kim Tae Kyun expressed awe at the K-Pop idol taking lessons well into her career, Lee Mijoo said, “You have to keep working on self-improvement.”

When a listener asked Noh Young Joo how Lee Mijoo was as her trainee, she said the idol brought a lot of passion to learning. She also revealed that Yoo Jae Suk actually paid for her lessons!

Mijoo was a very bright-eyed student. You could see the passion in her eyes—she really wanted to learn. In fact, Yoo Jae Suk actually paid for Mijoo’s lessons as a gift.
