During a live broadcast, Gehlee addressed rumors that she had plastic surgery done, explaining that she is too young and how everything fans see is because of “gua sha,” which is a traditional East Asian medicine practice involving the use of a smooth-edged tool to scrape the skin.

Yet, while the initial clip was from a live broadcast several days ago, it went viral on TikTok.

It sparked mixed reactions from fans.

Some acknowledged how good gua sha is, but others explained that with all the “changes” they’ve seen with Gehlee’s visuals, it’s impossible just to have been down to one technique. Others hit back at the comment where the idol said she was too young, especially pointing out that in Korea and the K-Pop that it isn’t uncommon for minors to have procedures done.
