SBS’s Spring of Youth has unveiled new stills from its upcoming episode!
“Spring of Youth” tells the story of Sa Gye (Ha Yoo Joon), a member of K-pop’s most famous band, who is suddenly ousted from his group. As he enrolls and adjusts to college life for the first time, he falls for Kim Bom (Park Ji Hu) and rediscovers his passion for music by joining a campus band. N.Flying’s Lee Seung Hyub stars as Sa Gye’s romantic rival Seo Tae Yang.
Spoilers
Previously in “Spring of Youth,” Kim Bom was heartbroken when Sa Gye announced he would quit both TWO SAGYE and his role as lead vocalist. Things got worse when Seo Min Chul (Kim Jong Tae) told her to let go of Seo Tae Yang, leading her to declare the disbandment of TWO SAGYE. While working a part-time job, she was shocked to find that the chorus of her song had been used without permission in The Crown’s comeback track.
In the upcoming sixth episode, FTISLAND’s Lee Hong Ki makes a special appearance as a lawyer, adding fun to the story. In the episode, Kim Bom seeks legal advice to file a plagiarism lawsuit against JO&JO Entertainment. Holding her composition notebook, she highlights the identical parts between her song and The Crown’s track, insisting it was copied. However, lawyer Lee Hong Ki shows an indifferent reaction, leaving Kim Bom feeling frustrated.
Eventually, she snaps and argues with him, prompting Lee Hong Ki to throw off his glasses, stand up, and explode in anger. Viewers are eager to find out why Lee Hong Ki suddenly lashed out—and whether Kim Bom will be able to successfully file a plagiarism lawsuit against JO&JO Entertainment.
The production team shared, “Although Lee Hong Ki’s role doesn’t have much screen time, he thoroughly studied the script and put effort into adding fun to the scene, greatly impressing the staff with his passion. Please be sure to watch the fantastic bickering chemistry between Lee Hong Ki and Park Ji Hu in the upcoming sixth episode”
The next episode of “Spring of Youth” will air on June 4 at 10:40 p.m. KST.
