Meet Kim Seon-ho and Go Youn-Jung Up Close in Jakarta on 16 Jan

To celebrate the global premiere of the highly anticipated romantic comedy series Can This Love Be Translated?, Netflix proudly announced an exclusive fan event featuring the series' lead stars, Kim Seon-ho and Go Youn-jung. The event will take place on 16 January 2026, at Kota Kasablanka, Jakarta.

Marking the duo's first on-screen pairing, Can This Love Be Translated? is an unpredictable romantic comedy that unfolds as multilingual interpreter Joo Ho-jin is assigned to translate for global celebrity Cha Mu-hee. The series asks a question everyone can relate to: How can we translate and understand each other’s love? 

Following promotional activities in Korea, the cast and Director Yoo Young-eun will come to Jakarta, known for its passionate fanbase, to celebrate the global premiere. This event offers a rare opportunity for fans to celebrate the series’ launch on the premiere day.

The experience is designed as an immersive journey, highlighting a cross-cultural cinematic experience. Mirroring the narrative arc of the drama—which was filmed in Japan, Korea, Canada, and Italy—the event will reflect the countries visited by the characters. 

Attendees will be guided through interactive segments that will bring them on a romantic getaway with Kim Seon-ho and Go Youn-jung. What makes it more interesting? The event is FREE ENTRY. Fans can get their ticket by only following the registration process for Superfans and General Admission.

Step 1: Prove yourself as a Superfans by creating a 10-seconds video showing your love to Kim Seon-ho and Go Youn-jung 

Contest submission: 22 to 29 December 2025 

Superfans with the most creative video will have a better chance to get closer with the casts. You can also register via the general admission process on the same link starting from December 29 until January 8.
