Now, a group has debuted with a concept never seen before in K-Pop — being furries.
Furries are people enjoy content of anthropomorphic animals and includes those who dress up in fursuits to take on their “fursona.”

The group BASTTIE initially was active as a cover group, performing tracks while fully dressed in fursuits. On October 12, the group made their official debut with an original song, “First Step.”
BASSTIE is a five-membered boy group made up of members Amber, Di, Kkami, Shinnyong, and maknae Boreum, who range in age from 19 to 17. The name stands for “BASTard Teens In Everywhere,” which means “naughty but cute boys around your neighbor,” according to their website.
The group also put details about their concept, including the details of their company Cozy Mozy Entertainment, which is described as “a group of creators making fursuit-related media content.” The group also collaborated with multiple suit makers from Asia for the project to come together.
