MC Mong addressed rumors of an affair with Chairman Cha Ga Won and the KakaoTalk messages during a live broadcast.

On the 3rd, MC Mong posted on his personal account, “I am now addressing reporters through TikTok Live,” announcing the broadcast.

The MBC program PD Note, aired on the 2nd, was titled “MC Mong and the Chairman’s K-pop Trade Secrets,” covering various suspicions including unpaid settlements at ONE HUNDRED, the relationship between Chairman Cha Ga Won and MC Mong, and gambling.

After the announcement, MC Mong started the live broadcast saying, “I’m also exhausted. I wonder how exhausted the public watching this must be. I’m very sorry for that,” expressing his feelings.

Messages seemingly confirming MC Mong’s relationship with ONE HUNDRED’s Chairman Cha Ga Won were revealed on PD Note. These were provided by Cha’s uncle and attracted great attention after the program aired.

MC Mong stated, “The core of this incident is where it began,” and claimed, “It was the actions of the uncle trying to take his niece’s shares.”

He continued firmly, “PD Note should have verified the truth of those KakaoTalk messages, at least with me,” and denied the affair again, saying, “I went to Las Vegas with the company’s CEO, deputy CEO, and all the staff together. If it were a honeymoon, why would it be with all the staff, not just two of us?

On that day, MC Mong named the media outlet that first reported the affair rumors between him and Chairman Cha, stressing that the KakaoTalk messages made public through that report were fabricated, and shared the court’s injunction ruling.

He re-emphasized the materials that were considered proof of the affair, saying, “The court has already issued an injunction stating that the KakaoTalk messages are fabricated. They’re all manipulated texts.” He added that the media outlet is no longer allowed to write articles based on those messages and that third-party posting and distribution are prohibited.

MC Mong claimed that only the media outlet and Cha’s uncle possessed these materials and that they were also provided to PD Note. He warned all media outlets, “They are reusing the KakaoTalk messages that have been legally restrained as manipulated. I am telling all media companies right now: if you don’t take down all false KakaoTalk messages after this time, I will file lawsuits and criminal charges against all of you.

He expressed anger, saying, “And I truly will not tolerate this anymore. You are destroying a person’s life.”
