Recently, LE SSERAFIM made their return with SPAGHETTI featuring the title track “SPAGHETTI.”
The video, though deemed “unserious,” has gained attention for seemingly being a diss track against haters.

In the discourse about the title, many deemed the other song on the single album a dedicated track to fans. Titled “Pearlies (My oyster is the world),” the lyrics reflect Yunjin’s comments in a recent interview with Billboard Philippines about only needing fans in the grand scheme of things.
[…] within the small oyster I already have, there’s everything I need. For us, that’s FEARNOT. They are our oysters, and therefore our world.
— Yunjin
However, fans taking a closer look at the lyrics have discovered lines that seemingly hint at past controversies and hate the group received.
My roof collapsed at that time.
My everything disappeared like a lie.
Tell me what is real, tell me what is true.
Please stop, April’s storm.
— Verse 1
“April’s storm” is believed to be a reference to April 2024, when the group initially faced criticism over their live vocal skills at Coachella 2024. The criticism quickly transformed into outright hate, resulting in the group closing their comments and facing backlash for months after.
It is believed the hate increased as a result of claims made by ex-ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin in her press conference the same month, resulting in Source Music, LE SSERAFIM’s label, filling a lawsuit.

The lyrics in the second verse, reflects the struggles LE SSERAFIM continued against, ultimately coming out on the other side “alive.”
Even if I can’t see an inch ahead, up tempo
I held onto my mental to survive
A tunnel where the end of darkness comes
The measure of my life doesn’t change
Hurt like a bitch, but baby, we’re alive
— Verse 2
Fans have reacted to the connection made in these lyrics, and are emotional about the hard journey the group faced.
just a reminder — april 2024, le sserafim went through one of the worst hate trains in kpop history. they turned off comments for over a year from the d threats. eunchae’s family even had to step in to defend her minor relative. le sserafim won’t forget, and neither will fearnots https://t.co/ZrhrQSKN4h
