LE SSERAFIM’s recent “Spaghetti” era has been filled with controversy, and it seems the criticism isn’t slowing down.

After backlash over their lyrics, album sales, and chart rankings, the group is now being called out for their visuals and styling during a recent music show performance.

On October 25, the group appeared on Music Core to perform their latest single. While the stage was energetic and confident, the members’ outfits and makeup quickly went viral among Korean netizens for all the wrong reasons.

Korean netizens felt that, although the concept matched the song’s eccentric vibe, the overall look appeared messy and hard to watch.

One viral post questioning their styling gathered thousands of views and scathing comments, with many expressing confusion over the creative direction behind the group’s image this comeback. Some even pointed out specific details — like Yunjin’s bleached eyebrows and the group’s heavy summer-inspired styling despite the fall season.
| Pann- “It’s supposed to be both artsy and pretty, but it’s just artsy and confusing.”
- “Judging by their hair and makeup, you’d think it was the middle of summer. Why didn’t they just release this during a heatwave?”
- “That kind of hair and makeup fits the song’s concept, but the song itself is just nonsense.”
- “Whoever insisted on bleaching Huh Yunjin’s eyebrows… please, get your sense of style back.”
- “It’s not that the styling is pretty, but I actually think the concept itself was fun and well thought out.”
Despite the backlash, some fans defended the performance, saying that LE SSERAFIM’s risk-taking approach keeps their image bold and distinct — even if it’s not everyone’s taste.
