The “KPop Demon Hunters” soundtrack shows no signs of slowing down on the Billboard charts!
For the week ending on July 26, all eight original songs from Netflix’s popular animated film “KPop Demon Hunters” successfully remained on Billboard’s Hot 100 (its weekly ranking of the most popular songs in the United States).
Fictional girl group HUNTR/X’s smash hit “Golden” (sung by EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami) broke into the top 5 in its fourth consecutive week on the Hot 100, rising to a new peak of No. 4.
The “KPop Demon Hunters” soundtrack landed a total of four songs in the top 40 this week: fictional boy band Saja Boys’ song “Your Idol” (sung by Andrew Choi, Neckwav, Danny Chung, U-KISS’s Kevin Woo, and samUIL Lee) shot to a new peak of No. 14, while HUNTR/X’s “How It’s Done” and Saja Boys’ “Soda Pop” rose to No. 23 and No. 25 respectively.
Rumi and Jinu’s duet “Free” (sung by EJAE and Andrew Choi) held onto its spot at No. 41 on the chart, with HUNTR/X’s “What It Sounds Like” and “Takedown” similarly maintaining their respective positions at No. 43 and No. 51.
Finally, TWICE’s Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung’s version of “Takedown” spent its second consecutive week on the chart at No. 90.
Meanwhile, the “KPop Demon Hunters” soundtrack stayed strong at No. 5 in its fourth week on the Billboard 200.
