K-pop girl group izna has made a strong return with their third mini album, "SET THE TEMPO," marking a new step in their growing journey as one of Gen 5's rising global acts. The release highlights the group's central message since debut: staying true to themselves while setting their own rhythm in a fast-moving industry.

According to KpoopWise, the album officially dropped with five tracks, led by the title song "METRONOME," produced by TEDDY alongside KUSH, VVN, and IDO.

The track uses the idea of a steady ticking beat to reflect confidence and self-control in a chaotic world. With its mix of bold energy and dreamy style, the song shows how izna continues to refine their identity while pushing into a more mature sound.

"Just like the title of this album, we want to keep moving forward with confidence at our own steady tempo," the members said. "We'll show that izna is truly one-of-a-kind, and the group that can make any concept our own."

Izna returned Monday with its third EP, "Set the Tempo," led by house-inspired main track "Metronome," as the group seeks to carve out its own identity amid a growing wave of house music influences in K-pop.https://t.co/VzXEtW589u

Each of the remaining songs explores a different mood and message. "R.I.P." leans into pop-rock energy, focusing on breaking away from the past and stepping into something new.

"INFINITY" is a heartfelt fan song, with lyrics contributed by members RYU SA RANG and BANG JEE MIN, expressing gratitude and trust toward their supporters, KPoping reported.

"ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS" brings a playful hip-hop and R&B vibe, inspired by the childhood game but shaped into a story about choices and relationships.

The final track, "LEAN ON ME," closes the album with a warm synth-pop sound, offering comfort during difficult moments. Together, the five songs create a connected listening experience that shows izna's expanding musical range.

The group has continued building a clear identity since debut, first with "N/a" and later with "Not Just Pretty," and now they enter a more confident era with "SET THE TEMPO."

Since their formation through the survival show "I-LAND 2" and their debut under WakeOne, izna has gained attention for both performance and global reach.

The group has already earned major recognition, including awards such as the 2025 MAMA Awards Favorite Rising Artist honor and wins at the Golden Disc Awards and D Awards.
