Iconic K-Pop Idol Confirms Wedding After A 12-Year Relationship

Minwoo, a member of the iconic boy group Shinhwa, has formally shared the date of his much-awaited wedding.

On November 25, KST, MBC released a preview of the upcoming episode of Radio Star, which featured Minwoo along with Zion.T, Kwon Ttotto, and Kang Hyung Wook. In the clip, the idol shared that his wedding date has been set for March next year.

Minwoo also delved into the sweet details of the proposal, sharing that he told her, “It’s not just you, it’s you and your daughter.” He added that his eldest daughter will start elementary school next year, beaming with paternal joy. Minwoo also revealed that he met his fiancée, who was a single mother, twelve years ago while Shinhwa was promoting in Japan. They went from being friends to family, and the couple is now expecting a second baby girl in December this year.

The idol confirmed that his wedding has been scheduled on March 29, 2026, adding that he had personally gone around for venue hunting and finalized the place himself. “I’m preparing for the wedding on my own,” he proudly announced. Minwoo added that he was yet to finalize the host and the singer for the ceremony.
