BLACKPINK has taken Goyang Stadium by storm!

From July 5 to 6, BLACKPINK drove over 78,000 BLINK to the two-day extravaganza at Goyang Stadium that signaled the start of the “DEADLINE” world tour, also marking their highly-anticipated reunion as a group.

As crowds flocked together, the stadium turned into a sea of pink, adding even more energy to the already heated venue.

With deafening cheers from BLINK, BLACKPINK made their grand entrance on stage with “Kill This Love,” captivating fans with their signature stage presence. The group continued to fire up the crowd further with “Pink Venom.” As Jisoo energetically welcomed the audience to the concert, the members took the opportunity to introduce themselves, and with the question, “Korea, are you ready?” BLACKPINK performed a smooth dance break to segue into their next stage of “How You Like That.” The members kept the energy high through their performance of “PLAYING WITH FIRE,” with each member receiving the spotlight.

With a thundering performance of “Shut Down,” the members left fans breathless as they went down backstage to prepare for their solo stages, giving way to the backup dancers who continued the party on stage, keeping the energy alive with their dynamic performances.

The concert got the show on the road as it entered the second act of the night. With a starry night backdrop, Jisoo returned to the stage for her elegant solo performance of “earthquake.” Exuding regal vibes, Jisoo flowed across the stage with the dancers, maintaining grace as she performed “Your Love” with bubbly and lovable energy as pink confetti petals fell on stage.

Following Jisoo’s solo act, Lisa took to the stage with her powerful presence and sharp dance moves for her solo performance of “NEW WOMAN.” Showcasing her dancing with immense precision and core strength, Lisa became the “ROCKSTAR” of the night as she had fans chanting along to her songs. The solo stages highlighted a collaborative effort of camerawork, stage direction, and stage choreography, with dancers skillfully moving around the members to highlight the solo performances even further, making dynamic usage of the walkways to weave throughout the stage.

The show continued in Act 3 with the group’s return on stage with “Pretty Savage.” Jennie continued to pump up the crowd, yelling, “Let me hear you scream!” Following Rosé’s introduction of the live band, the members showcased their vocals with “Don’t Know What To Do,” presenting their playful energy on stage.

Jisoo remarked, “I’m so thankful that so many people came today—everyone is dressed so well too!” Introducing their next song, Jennie asked, “Shall we go back nine years to when we were rookies?” leading to a nostalgic performance of “WHISTLE.” The group continued to perform “STAY,” with BLINK waving their light sticks along to the music to create a beautiful sea of pink, and the four rendezvoused at the center to perform “Lovesick Girls,” lighting up the stage with their presence.

As the night started to set in at Goyang Stadium, the concert introduced the fourth act of the night as Jennie took to the stage with her bold solo performances of “Mantra” and “with the IE (way up).” Jennie shouted, “Everyone, shall we stand up?” igniting the crowd with her energy. With overflowing swag and undeniable confidence, Jennie had the entire crowd dancing along and vibing to her stage—just “like JENNIE.”

Rosé then took center stage as the crowds chanted her name. Chatting with the crowd, Rosé got sincere as she took time to communicate with fans, introducing “3am” as a song that came to her like a gift at the end of a very busy two weeks, right before taking a flight back home. She shared, “It’s a song that gives me comfort, and I wish it can give you comfort as well.” As the stage dimmed, Rosé delivered an emotional performance of “3am.” Afterward, she grabbed the stand mic, singing her heart out for “toxic till the end.” Last but not least, Rosé had the entire stadium singing along to her global hit “APT.,” leaving fans abuzz in excitement even after the end of her performance.

With screams from BLINK excitedly waiting for the members to return to the stage, BLACKPINK entered the final act of the night with their high-energy performance of their new unreleased song “JUMP,” bringing a festive atmosphere to the stadium.

As the members expressed their excitement for the start of their tour in Goyang as well as showcasing solo performances and—above all—presenting their new song “JUMP” for the first time, BLACKPINK shared their happiness to start their world tour in Korea.

With the night still young, BLACKPINK rounded out their unforgettable concert with classic hits including “BOOMBAYAH,” “DDU-DU DDU-DU,” “AS IF IT’S YOUR LAST,” and “Forever Young.” Following a breathtaking drone show, BLACKPINK returned on stage for their encore performances of “JUMP,” “Really,” and “See U Later,” concluding their spectacular night.

Following their concerts in Goyang, BLACKPINK will hold 29 additional shows, visiting 15 more cities across the globe. Check out more info about BLACKPINK’s “DEADLINE” world tour here!
