Airport arrivals are known for being chaotic as fans and media attempt to record the star’s departure or arrival. However, this does raise security concerns, as mobs often form and can result in injury.

Fans are also known to go too far to get close to stars.

Another issue stars deal with at the airport is fans who continue to follow them past the security checkpoint. Several agencies have forbidden this, which is deemed the actions of sasaeng fans or stalker fans. This appears to be an issue ENHYPEN recently faced, as shown in a viral clip.

In a video that appears to be at or near the airline’s boarding area, fans are shown to surround one of the members when a staff member hits one of them with a piece of paper.

Some felt that the security’s actions were too much, and that they should have done something other than resorting to hitting.

Yeah that's not okay. I don't know if this was really a sasaeng or just a fan who got overexcited and maybe too close which shouldn't happen either but hitting someone like that and the aggression is really not great and shouldn't be applauded

However, a large majority seem to approve of the actions, especially considering the person could have taken a photo of his passport.

Before you lot start, he’s obviously hitting away whatever large camera the ssng is holding. They’re trying to record private passport info. If he actually hurt a woman with that much force and that degree why would everyone else react calmly? Clearly no one was actually hurt. https://t.co/NtJkZMMS5c

Here’s my thing yall can’t be like “so & so protect your artists” “get body guards” “stop these sasaengs and people all in their space” and then someone does and yall get uncomfortable and suddenly “was that necessary??” “Idk it feels like too much” “they’re just excited” PICK?! https://t.co/7wM7pvX9rL

"It's unnecessary, maybe it was just an excited fan" Y'all dumb? When u invade privacy like that, you're a sasaeng. No one in their right mind would go near the passport check area, are u one of those "fans" who enjoy idols' confidential information getting sold off? Weird https://t.co/yfiIPKqDn9
