CNN is preparing to spotlight Korea’s global cultural impact through a new travel documentary series titled “K-Everything,” hosted and executive-produced by award-winning actor Daniel Dae Kim. The four-episode series explores the growth of Korean culture worldwide, featuring stories filmed between Seoul and Busan.
A Four-Episode Journey Through Modern Korea
Produced by CNN Global Productions Asia Pacific, “K-Everything” will be part of CNN’s highly anticipated 2026 Originals programming lineup.
The series follows Daniel Dae Kim as he traces how Korea’s music, food, television, and cinema have shaped a cultural movement recognized across the world.

Daniel Dae Kim’s Connection to Korea
Daniel Dae Kim is widely recognized for his roles in Lost, Hawaii Five-0, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Raya and the Last Dragon.
He recently starred in Butterfly for Prime Video and appeared in Phenomenon and Kpop Demon Hunter on Netflix, the latter becoming the platform’s most-watched film in its history.
Beyond acting, Kim earned a Tony Award nomination for Yellow Face and continues to work as a producer through his company 3AD, known for The Good Doctor and the award-winning documentary Bad Axe.
He is also recognized for his social advocacy, including his testimony supporting the Covid-19 Hate Crimes Act and his service on the White House Advisory Commission on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders.
