BTS Jimin‘s military anecdote sparks fury about the military’s treatment of soldiers.

Earlier in the year, Jimin and Jungkook were discharged from the military.

Netizens have shared concerns for idols in the military, and even the likes of Jimin and RM worried fans with their condition after being discharged, sparking concerns about what happened during their enlistment.
Ahead of the premiere of the second series of Are You Sure?!, another trailer was posted by Disney+.
In the trailer, there was a moment teasing the two idols speaking about military when Jimin said, “I didn’t shower for five days.”
Yet, while some fans were excited to hear military stories, others thought it showcased the brutality of military service, with some saying that it was another piece of evidence showing “human rights violations.”
people will say i'm too woke but… being unable to practice basic hygiene should be added to the long list of human rights violations south korea practices https://t.co/dS4ULdSVhA

This is why I hate when ppl praise whatever achievements are made in the military because so many ppl have come out and have implied a lot of human rights violations that the military practices. It’s like a prison but you’re brainwashed into thinking you’re doing good https://t.co/bTJ7V38JRN
