BTS has once again made history in the United Kingdom after drawing around 130,000 fans across two sold-out concerts at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
The performances, held on July 6 and 7 as part of the BTS World Tour 'ARIRANG' in London, set a new record for the highest single-day attendance at the stadium since it opened in 2019, according to concert organizer Live Nation.
The achievement comes seven years after BTS became the first Korean artist to headline a solo concert at London's Wembley Stadium in 2019. Their return to the city highlighted the group's lasting popularity, with tickets selling out quickly and thousands of fans filling the venue over both nights.
During the concerts, BTS performed songs from their fifth full-length album, Arirang, including "Hooligan," "Body to Body," "NORMAL," and the title track "SWIM." The setlist also featured fan favorites such as "IDOL" and "FIRE," combining new music with some of the group's biggest global hits, AllKpop reported.
Speaking to the audience, the members reflected on their emotional return to London.
"We've once again felt the emotion from Wembley Stadium seven years ago. Thanks to your passion, we had a truly enjoyable time today," they said. They added that the concerts brought back many memories and reminded them how warmly London has always welcomed them.
