During a new episode of the reality show Call Me by Fire, he addressed the dating rumors that have been following him and Wang Feifei (also known as Fei). Fei is a Chinese singer, actress, and former member of the popular K-Pop group miss A. After the group disbanded, she debuted as a solo artist in Korea and began pursuing her solo career in China.

When asked about the dating rumors, Zhang playfully said, “Whether you want to ship us or not, that’s up to you. It’s just part of the stage concept.” In other words, their chemistry is just part of the show. He went on to praise Fei’s work ethic and professionalism, confirming that there’s nothing romantic happening between them off-camera.

At this time, Zhang isn’t planning to start a romantic relationship at all. He also believes that love should be “a low-key thing between two people” rather than a public spectacle.
