“It was simply deleted after…”

The legal dispute between ADOR and the members of NJZ (NewJeans) continues to spark headlines as new claims and accusations have emerged during the most recent court hearing on the validity of their exclusive contracts.
One of the most discussed incidents, when NJZ’s Hanni claimed she previously overheard an ILLIT manager telling others to “ignore her” when greeting the group at the company building, was brought up again. NJZ’s side accused ADOR of revealing only partial footage that did not include the specific interaction Hanni had with ILLIT and their staff.
ADOR Reveals CCTV Footage Of ILLIT Greeting NJZ, Disputing Hanni’s Previous Claims
During the hearing, NJZ’s legal team raised this concern as proof that the group can no longer trust the company, accusing ADOR of trying to make Hanni “look like a liar.” They emphasized the emotional toll it had on the members and argued that it was another example of the agency failing to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
There’s CCTV footage of her going in, but why was the footage of her leaving deleted? It makes Hanni look like a liar. Imagine how the other members felt seeing that. How can they return to an agency that doesn’t protect them but instead treats them like liars?

In response, during their own argument, ADOR admitted that the footage is no longer available, but denied any malicious intent, claiming it was not deleted by them.
This is not a valid reason for terminating the exclusive contract, nor was there any reason to delete the CCTV footage. It was simply deleted after the standard 30-day retention period.
—ADOR’s side
The explanation suggests that the missing footage was due to routine data management and not an intentional cover-up. However, this clarification has not eased public concerns, especially among fans who continue to express frustration over the ongoing dispute.
Hanni was called a liar by all kpop stans because of that video but now they’re telling us it wasn’t even that video since all of hybe’s surveillance footage gets automatically deleted after 30 days pic.twitter.com/ipwws1ZROX

So they just admitted into releasing completely irrelevant pieces of CCTV footage to the media to muddy the waters and make Hanni seem like a liar.
