I was about as excited for a Killing Voice as I ever was when Dingo Music announced WJSN‘s, and thankfully they didn’t disappoint. The eight members fit 16 songs into a 23-minute medley, getting to at least a good number of my favorites from them: “As You Wish“, “I Wish“, “Secret“, “Pantomime“, “AURA“, “BUTTERFLY“, “Miracle“, “Masquerade“, “La La Love“, “Renaissance“, “HAPPY“, “Dreams Come True“, “Save Me Save You“, “UNNATURAL“, “Bloom Hour“, and “Star“.
Their songs in particular are a sound sight for sore ears eyes as their ethereal soundscapes and heavily melodic hits are somewhat the antithesis of the way K-pop is trending today.
I understand why they didn’t, but I was kinda hoping they’d work their sub-unit stuff in (as well as “Last Sequence” and a bunch of other B-sides, honestly), but if we went down that road I understand the thing would be endless.
Either way, refreshing.
WJSN 'Killing Voice' is gonna feed families.
