Dayoung, a member of WJSN, is set to make a solo comeback this April.
On March 22, her agency Starship Entertainment shared a “COMING SOON. APRIL” teaser image on Dayoung’s official social media, hinting at her new release with a striking pink-toned visual and the phrase “What’s a girl to do,” sparking curiosity among fans.
This comeback comes roughly eight months after her solo debut digital single, gonna love me, right?, which showcased her hands-on involvement in songwriting and production. Her previous title track, Body, highlighted her distinct musical and visual style, reaching Melon’s Top 100 at #9, accumulating over 10 million streams, and earning her music show wins and the “Best Solo Artist (Female)” award at the 2025 Korea Grand Music Awards.

Body also gained international attention, appearing on NME, Billboard, and The Hollywood Reporter’s “Best K-pop of 2025” lists, with Teen Vogue naming the music video one of the year’s best, proving Dayoung’s global influence.
With her first Waterbomb festival performance scheduled for July 26, anticipation is building for her new music and visuals. Updates on Dayoung’s comeback will continue to roll out via her official social media channels.
