tvN’s “Second Shot at Love” has unveiled a new making-of video for Episodes 7 and 8!

“Second Shot at Love” is a rom-com that tells the story of Han Geum Ju (Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung), a self-proclaimed “reasonable drinker” who unexpectedly reunites with her first love Seo Ui Jun (Gong Myoung)—a man who despises alcohol—and decides to take on the challenge of quitting drinking.

The newly released video opens with a scene of Ui Jun and Bong Sun Wook (Kang Hyung Suk) sparring in a Taekwondo studio. Gong Myoung, who has over 10 years of Taekwondo experience from his youth, is seen skillfully tying his co-star’s body protector. As the two actors practice their moves between takes, Gong Myoung impresses with his sharp footwork and powerful shouts, revealing yet another layer of his charm.

The next scene captures a farewell party at Geum Ju’s house before she returns to work. Sun Wook takes the mic and starts singing, while Geum Ju and others cheer enthusiastically. Staying true to her roots as a K-pop idol, Sooyoung dances to the rhythm, adding energy and excitement to the lively atmosphere.

In a more intimate behind-the-scenes moment, Sooyoung and Gong Myoung are shown preparing for a kiss scene while sitting together on a sofa. They check the props beforehand, expressing admiration for the crew’s thoughtful preparation. Though slightly awkward at first, Sooyoung quickly gets into character once the camera starts rolling, gently touching Gong Myoung’s lips. The scene comes to life through the director’s detailed guidance and the actors’ deep understanding of their characters.
