Sony Music Korea introduces its latest six-member boy group, VAYONN, marking the official start of their highly anticipated debut with the release of their pre-release single “Watta Day,” alongside the announcement of their upcoming debut full-length album set for release on July 6, 2026. Marking the official introduction of a new global act, the debut signals the arrival of a group positioned to connect with audiences worldwide through a blend of performance and genre-driven sound. With a clear creative direction rooted in synth-pop and modern production, the rookie group enters the industry as a next-generation act focused on musicality and global cultural impact

VAYONN embodies a new narrative of youth, one that exists between nostalgia and reality, struggle and self-discovery. The group’s core identity centers on the idea that every day is youth, and every moment carries meaning within it. Through their music and storytelling, VAYONN aims to reflect the emotional complexity of growing up while offering comfort and resonance, positioning themselves as a group that feels like warmth in winter and shade in summer, present, grounding, and memorable.

“Watta Day” serves as the first introduction to VAYONN’s musical direction. It is an uplifting synth-pop anthem that captures the dazzling journey of youth confronting their authentic selves and boldly running toward their dreams. The track is characterized by its recurring retro synth sounds in the intro and pre-chorus, which heighten the song’s sense of momentum and emotional release. As it unfolds, “Watta Day” channels the fearless energy of facing life’s challenges head-on, delivering an exhilarating soundtrack to self-discovery and ambition, as shown in lyrics “Ain’t got no drama, ain’t got no mess, don’t feel no pressure, it’s time to fly.” 

Alongside the pre-release single, VAYONN has announced their debut full-length album set for July 6, 2026. The five-track project expands on the themes introduced in “Watta Day,” exploring ambition, identity, and emotional growth through a diverse range of genres including pop, hip-hop, and performance-focused production. The album builds a cohesive narrative of youth in motion, capturing both vulnerability and determination across its tracklist.
