K-pop’s powerhouse co-ed group KARD is turning up the summer heat with their much-anticipated 8th mini album DRIFT, dropping on July 2 at 6 PM KST across major music platforms.

The spotlight shines on the title track ‘Touch’, a dance-pop banger that fuses early 2000s vibes with KARD’s unmistakable flair. Driven by vibrant percussion and rhythmic flux synths, the track practically dares listeners to move. Lyrically, it delivers a confident message: “If you can’t have me, prepare to regret it.” All four members contributed to the writing, with BM also taking part in the composition, infusing the track with KARD’s edgy DNA.

Accompanying the release is a striking music video, where the group exudes pure party energy. The visuals showcase KARD’s magnetic charisma as they command the scene with seductive moves and irresistible presence, teasing an atmosphere of late-night allure and confidence.

DRIFT features a seven-song lineup, each track revealing different shades of KARD’s musical versatility:

  • ‘BETCHA’: a laid-back yet bold blend of vocals and rap

  • ‘Before We Go’: a breezy, beachside sendoff capturing the final dance before dawn

  • ‘Top Down’: dreamy and carefree, floating through life’s rhythm

  • ‘Pivot’: a sultry narrative told through glances and breaths

  • Instrumentals of ‘Touch’ and ‘Pivot’ round out the tracklist

This latest album is a response to the lingering question posed in their previous release, ‘Where To Now? (Part. 1: Yellow Light) mapping a journey of reflection, direction, and unapologetic self-expression. True to their form, KARD once again blurs genre lines and breaks molds with signature style and confidence.

The release of ‘DRIFT’ also sets the stage for KARD’s highly anticipated world tour, beginning July 19 at Yes24 Wonderwall Hall in Seoul. This marks their first solo concert in Korea in nearly five years, and global fans are already buzzing with excitement.

With slick visuals, bold sounds, and unmatched synergy, KARD proves once again why they remain the undisputed icons of K-pop’s co-ed revolution.
