Commission, set to premiere on July 16, 2025 (KST), is a thriller about an aspiring webtoon artist who becomes involved in a murder case after drawing something for a client from the dark web. Jinu plays the role of a psychopathic serial killer from the dark web, making a massive shift from his usual soft vibe to something much darker and edgier.

At the 29th “Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival” (BIFAN), Jinu addressed his fans about what inspired him to undergo the shocking transformation.

This was a role I really wanted to do. I’ve been hoping to break away from my usual image, and I’ve been waiting a long time for this kind of character. When the director offered it to me, I accepted with gratitude.

After receiving the script, I had many deep conversations with the director about the character, and I think this is going to be a role I’ll never forget.
