Popular Singer Arrested After Teenager’s Body Found In Car Following Korean Promotions

He was on tour when the discovery was made.

Singer D4vd, known by many for his numerous K-Pop connections, has been arrested.

On September 9, 2025, it was reported that a body was found in an impounded vehicle in Los Angeles, California. The Los Angeles Police Department responded to a report of a foul odor coming from an impounded car that had been at the property for a couple of days and discovered the body, which had been placed inside a bag.

The car was found to be a Tesla registered to D4vd.

Investigations found that the body found was that of Celeste Rivas Hernandez, a 14-year-old who went missing in 2025. Subsequent discussions surrounding the case alleged that D4vd and Hernandez were involved in a romantic relationship.

The singer visited Korea in late 2024 and again in May 2025, filming content each time. During his second visit, d4vd even performed on M!Countdown and held busking events in Seoul, meeting many idols in the process and collaborating with Korean artists, including Hannah Bahng.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the 21-year-old singer was arrested and is being held without bail, with the case being presented for filing consideration on Monday, April 20.
