After eight long years, Park Jihoon finally reunited with his Malaysian fans, MAYs—and the moment turned into an unforgettable celebration of music, laughter, and pure fan joy.

The South Korean singer and actor returned to Kuala Lumpur for the 2026 PARK JIHOON ASIA FANCON RE:FLECT in KUALA LUMPUR at Plenary Hall, marking his first visit since 2018 when he last performed in the city as a member of WANNA ONE. For fans in attendance, the night felt less like a concert and more like a long-awaited homecoming.

From the moment he stepped on stage, Jihoon was greeted with deafening cheers from fans who had waited years for his return. Throughout the night, he showed not only his powerful stage presence but also the playful charm and warmth that continue to endear him to fans worldwide.

Jihoon opened the show in a prince-like outfit, immediately capturing attention as he kicked off the night with strong performances of Blank Effect, Serious, and GOTCHA. He then greeted fans in Bahasa Malaysia, saying, "Gembira dapat jumpa korang semua", which sent the crowd into even louder cheers.

One of the biggest highlights of the night was the fan interaction segment, where Jihoon enthusiastically took on a series of fun challenges. The first mission saw him complete five elephant spins before striking three cute poses for the audience. Despite the dizziness, Jihoon completed the challenge flawlessly, even jokingly leaning into his well-known charm and referencing his iconic catchphrase, "내 마음속에 저장", much to fans' delight.

The second challenge tested his romantic side as he was asked to write a love letter in Malay. He sweetly wrote, "Saya sayang anda dan saya sayang awak" ("I love you"), instantly melting hearts across the venue. The third challenge brought plenty of laughter as Jihoon ate a slice of lemon before attempting to hold his prettiest smile. While the sour reaction was impossible to fully hide, his determination to smile through it made the moment even more entertaining for fans.

To make the experience even more special, polaroid photos were taken after each challenge and later given away through a lucky draw, turning them into highly sought-after keepsakes for fans.

Musically, Jihoon delivered a powerful setlist spanning his solo career, performing fan favorites such as NITRO, Matador, 360, and Dawn Moon. He also showcased tracks from his latest album REFLECT, including Body Else, Watercolor, and I Can't Hold Your Hand Anymore, highlighting his growth and versatility as an artist.

As the night drew to a close, fans were still not ready to say goodbye. Jihoon returned for an encore with I Wonder, before launching into MayDay. The crowd's passionate chants filled the hall so strongly that he eventually granted fans' wishes by performing MayDay once again, turning the finale into a massive singalong moment.

Before leaving the stage, Jihoon expressed heartfelt gratitude to Malaysian fans, thanking them for their overwhelming support and the incredibly loud energy throughout the night, which he said made his return even more meaningful.
