New “KPop Demon Hunters” Merch Triggers Heated Reactions

While Netflix‘s KPop Demon Hunters is a certified hit, the newly-released merch from the movie is getting a variety of opinions.

Merch items were announced that are copies of the actual clothes worn by the characters in the movie.

While the concept is endearing, the price tag of 101,000 KRW (about $72 USD) is not appealing to many.

Particularly, there are joggers, hoodies, and more that are seen throughout the movie.

You can expect to pay 87,000 KRW (about $63 USD) for Mira’s polar bear sweatshirt.

They have clothes from each character so you can pick your favorite…

…but netizens wonder if its really worth the price tag: This hoodie is 79,000 KRW (about $57 USD).

They also feature some merch worn by the Saja Boys, including this floral shirt.

However, the shirt is surprisingly more than the price of a hoodie and is priced at 87,000 KRW (about $63 USD).

There’s also a hilarious ab shirt…

…and even this is somehow 63,000 KRW (about $45 USD).

Netizens are baffled by the high price points of the items.
