Male K-Pop Idol Comes Out After Fan Questioning

Over the last few months, multiple idols have opened up about their sexuality to fans.

KATSEYE‘s Lara, followed by Megan, both publicly came out to fans, with the former sharing that she was queer, while the latter admitted to being bisexual. JUST B‘s Bain also made headlines after he came out as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community during a concert, later specifying that he was gay.

Now, another idol has “come out” after being asked about his sexuality by fans.

Recently, GHOST9’s Prince shared a YouTube video in which he answered many “unhinged” questions directly asked by fans.

Prince answered multiple questions about his idol life and personality, in the same unfiltered way he usually shares content. At one point, numerous questions about his sexuality, including asking if he was gay or bisexual, were read aloud by him.

Prince says that he would “set the record” there, saying that he was “unfortuntely” straight, mentioning that he did have a flamboyant side to him. He says that he has been mistaken to be a “little bit zesty,” and remarked that it was “understandable.”

Though coming out is usually considered to be something that LGBT+ individuals, which is related to the assumption that everyone is straight, it is nice to see an idol answer questions in such an open way.
