After being released over a month ago, Netflix’s series KPop Demon Hunters continues to be a hot issue. The series draws inspiration from K-Pop, which is currently a global trend.
While the show continues to top music and film charts, influencers and celebrities have posted numerous reactions and song covers online.
With this popularity, Netflix revealed that it was considering making two sequels to the series, as well as possibly a live-action remake and musical.
Netflix plans to produce 2 new "KPop Demon Hunters" animated features (to form a trilogy).

However, the news triggered mixed reactions from K-Netizens.



- “Netflix or Sony has made no official statement. I don’t think they would make such a big announcement through a magazine.”
- “I think making a musical would be nice.”
- “Please don’t do a live remake…just make more merchandise.”
- “Why is everyone trying to make a live-action remake every time an animation succeeds? No one wants it…”
Meanwhile, the animation team recently spoke out about the source of inspiration for the character Jinu.
