Kino steps into a defining new chapter with the release of his third EP, Lost and Found, a project that captures his evolving journey toward self-acceptance and creative independence.
Leading the release is the visually striking music video for TAXI, which blends retro Korean street aesthetics with a high-fashion twist. Inspired by 80s–90s taxi signage, the video builds toward a dramatic transformation, with KINO appearing in dazzling full-face sparkle makeup—an arresting image that reframes identity through a bold, editorial lens. The track itself reflects on the emotional weight of daily life, encouraging moments of self-reward and release instead of relentless pressure.
At the heart of the EP is a deeply personal shift in mindset. KINO shares that what once felt like living under others’ expectations has evolved into a firm belief in living authentically. That realization threads through the project, unfolding as a narrative of growth—from self-doubt to clarity, confidence, and freedom.
Musically, Lost and Found leans into electronic dance influences while staying grounded in the emotional honesty that defines his solo work. Tracks like “BIG HOODIE” offer a warm nod to introverts, while “HENNESSY,” featuring Yunjoung Lee of Pippi Band, questions whether indulgence truly liberates—or quietly takes control.
The EP also brings together a diverse lineup of collaborators, including producer bojvck, lyricist Kim Eana, and U.S.-based artist Mikey Angelo, enriching its layered sound and storytelling.
KINO’s rollout echoed the album’s core message. Through Instagram Live sessions and a creative teaser campaign, he played with a “lost and found” concept—initially presenting himself as missing, only to reveal he had been embracing freedom all along. A three-part short film series further explored the theme: “Changed perspective, changed life.”

After years within the traditional K-pop system as part of PENTAGON, KINO began forging his own path, launching his independent label NAKED in 2023. His previous EP, EVERYBODY’S GUILTY, BUT NO ONE’S TO BLAME, tackled social pressure and burnout, while Lost and Found signals a shift toward renewal, optimism, and self-trust.
His solo artistry continues to gain global recognition, with praise from outlets like Forbes highlighting his ability to carve out a unique identity beyond industry expectations.
KINO is set to take this new era on the road with his <FREE KINO> world tour, heading to the U.S. this April following stops across Europe and Asia. The tour kicks off in New York City on April 19, before continuing through Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Chicago, wrapping up in Columbus on April 26.
With Lost and Found, KINO doesn’t just return—he redefines himself.
