Actress Kim Hye Yoon recently shared a spine-chilling experience she had while filming a scene for the horror project Salmokji: Whispering Waters.

During a conversation about the filming process, Kim Hye Yoon recalled a particular scene that left her genuinely unsettled. In the scene, her character had to crawl out of a reservoir, with water reaching up to her elbows. Because of camera framing and safety concerns, most of the staff had to stand far away from the water, leaving her essentially alone in the reservoir while the scene was being filmed.

That’s when something strange happened. Kim Hye Yoon explained that while she was moving through the water, she suddenly felt something brushing against her arm. At first, she assumed it might have been her own hair. However, she quickly realized something didn’t add up. She said she could clearly feel strands of hair touching her arm in the water, but her own hair wasn’t long enough to reach that far.

This is what I personally experienced. There’s a scene where I crawl out of the reservoir. So the water came up to around my elbow. All of the staff were far away and there was only me left there. But since everyone was far away, there was a moment where I felt like hair was brushing by my arm. Like it kept brushing my arm. My own hair isn’t that long, so it couldn’t be that.

Since the staff were positioned far away during the shoot, there was no obvious explanation for what she felt at the time.

Well, you know what they say in Korea! If a ghost is encountered before something goes public, the movie or debut is likely to succeed!
