K-Pop Star Kang Daniel Headlines A Four-Week Summer Series In Flushing, NY

“Skyview high” Is In Session This Summer — And You’re Invited. Queens is about to level up your summer plans.

The Shops at Skyview is launching “Skyview High” — a free four-week event series made for Gen Z and young adults who live for K-Culture, K-Pop, aesthetics, and good eats. Running from July 24 through August 30, each event gives you a chance to vibe with NYC’s Asian community, flex your creativity, and—if you play it right—meet K-Pop icon Kang Daniel live on stage.

Think of it like summer school… but way cooler.

What’s Going Down At Skyview High?

Cultural Electives — July 24 @ 5–7 PM
K-Pop dance covers, live DJ sets, Taekwondo demos, Asian snack tastings, and a wild uniform-style photo booth comp. Finalists get the chance to be on stage with Kang Daniel!

Creative Studio — August 3 @ 2–5 PM
Join local artists to help paint a giant portrait of Kang Daniel. Plus: live patch DIYs, beauty demos, and custom tote or tee art from Skyview shops.

Culinary Lab — August 14 @ 5–7 PM
Dim sum demos, Filipino desserts, and an insanely cute lunchbox contest. The winner gets a $300 gift card + a spot on stage during the finale.

Commencement Day w/ Kang Daniel — August 30
Only 101 ticket winners get in. You earn your invite by hitting all three events and logging your “credits.” The prize? A live meet-and-greet and celebration hosted by Kang Daniel himself — in his iconic school uniform fit.
