What’s life like for Girls’ Generation member Yuri outside the K-Pop world? In her most recent endeavor, the idol-turned-actress was spotted taking part in a meaningful event on Jeju Island, where she lives and serves as an “Honorary Ambassador.”

On July 26, 2025 (KST), Yuri switched careers for a day, transforming into a yoga instructor for the “Charity Yoga with Kwon Yuri” program. The event, organized by an animal shelter where Yuri volunteers, charged ₩50,000 KRW (about $36.10 USD) per participant.

The shelter shared, “The total proceeds from the yoga class with Kwon Yuri, including donations, of ₩1.85 million KRW (about $1,340 USD) will be used meaningfully for the lives under our care.”
