K-Pop’s beloved diva and actress IU is seemingly shrinking, and no, that’s not a metaphor for anything.
IU | @dlwlrma/InstagramDuring a recent online conversation with fans, IU was asked about her height, and she responded, revealing, “It was 163.2 cm last year but I shrunk to 162.7 cm this year.”

IU, who is known for her petite frame, has previously mentioned on variety shows that her weight hovers around the 44kg mark. Despite having lost a few inches, according to the singer’s own admission, people were more shocked by the fact that her height was in the 160s range, and not the 150s.
The fact that IU, who has been very meticulous about managing her physique since her debut, has actually lost a few millimeters has left many fans baffled and concerned.
