A new post on the Korean forum Pann has gone viral after claiming that IVE’s Liz is now prettier than fellow mega-popular member Jang Wonyoung.

With over 50,000 views and hundreds of comments, the post has sparked a massive, heated debate among Korean netizens alike.

Liz is prettier than Jang Wonyoung now.

If she had debuted with this look, she probably would’ve been the center. She’s seriously so pretty, no signs of plastic surgery, just natural beauty.

The comparison immediately drew strong reactions from users, with many rushing to defend Wonyoung, often referred to as one of the top visuals of the fourth generation of K-Pop. Others agreed that Liz’s recent visuals have noticeably improved and deserve more attention.

However, much of the backlash wasn’t necessarily about who’s prettier, but rather the constant comparisons between female idols. Many users criticized the original poster for pitting two members of the same group against each other and stirring unnecessary division within the fandom.
