Meanwhile, Jiyeon married former baseball player Hwang Jae Gyun in 2022 but announced their divorce in October 2024.
They were unable to overcome their differences, ultimately agreeing to divorce after living apart. They filed for divorce mediation with the Seoul Family Court, and the divorce was finalized that November.
Jiyeon continues to meet Asian fans as a member of T-ARA, while Hwang Jae Gyun began broadcasting activities after retiring from baseball.
